Keys to the Doncaster Operation Training Academy were officially handed over on Monday, 24th July 2023. The site, which will be used for the upskilling of operational staff on the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS), contains three classrooms, two meeting rooms, a simulator room and observer space, and collaborative learning spaces. This week members of the training team have been on site adding finishing touches ahead of conducting Foundation Training on site from next week.
The Freightliner ERTMS Team would like to extend a huge thank you to Business Change Manager, Damon Snell, for his resilience and not giving up on Frenchgate Centre as the site for Doncaster’s Academy.
Freightliner will be hosting an official opening event on 27th September 2023.
