In partnership with East Coast Digital Programme, Modern Railways has recently released a supplement covering all things European Train Control System (ETCS) and its introduction on the East Coast Mainline South. The supplement not only provides information about the Programme, but also elaborates on the ‘Partnership Approach’ ECDP is taking to achieve the successful implement in-cab signalling on a major UK rail artery. Included in the supplement are quotes from Freightliner’s Managing Director of Rail Services, Blake Jones, on the benefits of European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) and the value of a collaborative Programme culture.
