On 27th June, colleagues at the Crewe office hosted Millie and Chloe for a day of work experience. They were shown different aspects of how the business runs and got an insight into several different railway roles including:
✔ Rail operations and safety
✔ An introduction to Engineering and European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) including the ways in which it will benefit the railway
✔ How to effectively roster train drivers
✔ The importance of reviewing and learning from company performance
At the end of the day, the girls were given an introduction to the platforms and tools used to produce and cascade ERTMS Communications. They were invited to create their own post and share their thoughts on the day in it. The girls did an amazing job and we hope to see them join us as colleagues in the future!
