On the week leading up to International Women’s Day, I asked my fellow females for their thoughts about being a woman in rail. Responses varied, with the exception of the team sharing the perspective that they did not feel their gender was a determining factor in how they were treated while working within Freightliner.
Is this great? Yes. Is there still room for improvement? Always. Will we get there? Eventually.
